Annie Sloan Gilding Waxes – out now!

Annie Sloan Gilding Waxes – out now!

Annie Sloan Gilding Waxes offer a quick and easy way to add a metallic touch to furniture and other painting projects.

Available in five colours: Warm Gold, Bright Gold, Dark Silver, Bright Silver and Copper, R105.00 (15ml), Gilding Waxes are available exclusively from Annie Sloan stockists nationwide.

Gilding Waxes can be used over an entire painted project or to highlight details such as textured brushwork, mouldings or carvings. They work well with Annie Sloan Stencils or can be used to create one-off original designs.

To use – squeeze a small amount of Gilding Wax on to a lint free cloth – a little goes a long way, so start sparingly. Gently apply the Gilding Wax onto the surface, allowing some of the paint below to show through to create a distressed look, or to cover the surface more densely, simply add a little more Gilding Wax. If you apply too much, do not worry, simply remove it with a cloth, or wipe off with a little Clear Chalk Paint™ Wax. Leave to cure overnight, then buff the following day to remove excess pigment and add lustre.
