A feast for the senses in Pretoria

A feast for the senses in Pretoria

What do you get when you combine the best music, tastiest food, delicious wine and the most enjoyable children’s entertainment at one of the most popular venues in Pretoria on a Saturday? An unforgettable outdoor festival, which is not only a feast for the senses but will also bring young and old together for the event of the year!

PROE’TORIA, the third of its kind in Pretoria, will be held on 25 August 2018 on the grounds of one of the most popular venues in Gauteng, Weiveld! According to Leon Pheiffer, the founding member of the festival, it is definitely not something to be missed. “We are planning on hosting an unforgettable experience for people of all ages. This festival will not only provide attendees with the best combination of food, wine and drinks to taste and buy in the country but will also showcase some of the most beautiful art and popular music in the industry and keep children entertained in a safe and secure play area,” he reveals. “Musicians were specifically selected because of their ability to get and keep things going. They are household names in the music industry and will be performing some of their greatest hits throughout the day.”

Festivalgoers can look forward to being entertained by artists like Elvis Blue, Touch of Class, Nadine, Leah, Tussen Sterre, Johrné van Huyssteen, Jemma, 2nd Life, Spoegwolf, Ampie and more. “I performed at the previous two festivals and feel like part of the family. In the current economic climate, consumers try to save money where they can. This festival is not only centrally located for people who live in Pretoria and Johannesburg, but also offers great show discounts, which means that you can save money and petrol whilst enjoying yourself,” says Ampie.

In addition to good music, the festival also boasts more than 120 outdoor food, wine, art and craft beer stalls, from suppliers, exhibitors and wine farms across the country. Children will be able to enjoy themselves with an exciting play area and other fun activities to ensure that nobody feels left out on the day. By being part of this special occasion, you will also be doing your bit for charity, because some of the funds raised from this event, will be donated to Caring Daisies to assist them with the wonderful work they are doing in underprivileged communities.

Gates will open at 12:00 on the day and the show will continue up until 23:00. Tickets cost R180 and are available online at https://tickets.tixsa.co.za/event/proetoria-fees-2018. PROE’TORIA is hosted in association with Beeld, Star Zoo Factory, EPH Productions, Weiveld and Jacaranda FM.

If you are passionate about food, wine, music and having a good time, you do not want to miss this spectacular event! Invite your friends and family along for the outing!
