In rememberance

We had the privilege of attending the launch of lawyer Nico van Rensburg’s book, Dollar Eventualis (consisting of stories from his years in the field of Law) at an intimate gathering at the quaint Huisteater in Horison, but were saddened to learn that he passed away the following day. He spoke with great passion about his first book and the journey of getting it published. We feel honoured to have shared his company on the evening.

Think glam and gorgeous outfits topped off with big, fancy hats in true Durban July style! The Muldersdrift Business Women’s Association (MBWA) in conjunction with Kloofzicht Lodge hosted a glorious afternoon of divine food, plenty of wine, goodie bags, fashion shows, entertainment and of course fun-filled horse-play games in aid of various charities supported by the MBWA.

The filming of the newly anticipated romantic teen comedy, Jou Romeo recently took place at Monument High School where we paid a visit to the set and snapped a few of the cast members in between scenes. The film will be in cinemas on 23 December later this year!

Alice Pitzer, the woman behind the renowned Alice Art Gallery in Ruimsig and the winner of the Woman-owned Business 2015, by the South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry celebrated her 50th birthday at the Gallery with her closest friends and family in glorious high tea style! With champers, show-stopping cakes and treats, it was an afternoon of celebration.

The stunning Engedi Wedding Venue hosted members of government, high-profile property owners and those working in the industry in elegance where TCTC shared their vision to help drive tourism in The Cradle of Humankind.

Caxtonians gathered for the 27th Annual Caxton Excellence Awards, themed Fantastical and the Joburg Theatre was transformed into a mystical wonderland of treats, circus characters and top-notch entertainment! The hilarious Shaleen Surtie -Richards was MC of the prestigious event while Bongi (actor, dancer, singer), Nathi (musician and singer), Desmond & The Tutus as well as DJ extraordinaire Voltex kept us moving to the very end of the awards.
